Frederick Reads

Frederick Reads is a celebration for book lovers!  We bring prominent poets and writers, local venues, and literature lovers together from all over the region. Every year, well-known literary figures visit Frederick and discuss their work. Local venues across Frederick County host various related events like book clubs, movie screenings, and author visits, while hotels and restaurants offer discounts so that everyone can join in. There's no need to travel a long distance to meet your favorite authors when you can see them right here in Frederick.

Come, read with us!
